The conference will offer participants an opportunity to learn about and share examples of current practical and strategic issues facing Black and Minority Ethnic community groups, members and Community Development practitioners.
Who is this event for?
This event is for Black and Minority Ethnic Community Development practitioners
Objectives:
- Celebrating the experiences of Ubuntu within the changing context of Community Development from Black perspectives during the last 20 years
- Identify the need and boundaries for BME CD Practitioners to network and address strategic themes within a UK wide context.
- Discuss and create possible futures for promoting Community Development approaches for responding to current and emerging themes that are affecting the most marginalised and excluded communities.
