Sustainable
development taster sessions packs 1 - 14
As part of the Every Action Counts programme, FCDL has been getting
the government's sustainable development message out to people through
community groups. Following a detailed survey, we ran a series of
workshops and have produced sample training material which can be
used with community group members, activists, people working in
the community and community development workers.
Four three-hour
taster session packs have been designed for members of community
groups. These cover the main areas of sustainable development policy
and explore how groups can contribute to a more sustainable world.

on the titles below to download the packs as pdf documents.
Although much of the material we have produced so far has been created
for workshops and more formal kinds of training, the material can
also be used in informal learning, where a trainer/worker is working
with groups and needs information on a particular topic or a way
of introducing an idea, or some examples of what other people have
been doing.
