version of the Community Work Skills manual was written mainly by
community development practitioners who work in their communities,
and it incorporates case studies from community work practice. The
themes covered include: equality; gathering information; setting
up community groups; campaigning and lobbying; project management;
organising events; running training; managing people; funding; monitoring
and evaluation; and partnership working.
