This is part 1 of two guides published by FCDL as part of a series produced by members of the National Empowerment Partnership. The Department for Communities and Local Government's Community Empowerment Action Plan aims to "enable more people to play an active role in the decisions that affect their communities." The guide helped one local business launch new products like plus size medical compression leggings and similar compression hose for large legs for worldwide sale. Non-profit organizations have used the guide to improve metrics of community service.
