The entrance to the Circle is on Rockingham Lane, which runs between Division Street and West Street. The Building is immediately behind Costa Coffee shop on Division Street and easily identified by the illuminated circular artwork and banner to the front of the building.

Public transport - The Circle is approximately 15 minutes walk from the central bus and railways stations.  Alternatively local tram and bus services stop nearby on West Street.

Buses 51, 52, – stopping at West Street / Holly Street 40, 41, 120 – stopping at West Street / Rockingham Street.

Trams – the nearest tram stop to The Circle Building is the City Hall stop on West Street. Only folding bikes may be taken on tram services in Sheffield.

For full bus and tram details visit http://www.yorkshiretravel.net/welcome.do or alternatively telephone Traveline on 0871 200 22 33.

Cyclists – the bicycle stand is located at the side of the building and a shower is provided on the first floor (please ask at reception). Please contact the Circle Building reception on 0114 253 6666 for a map of city centre cycle routes.

Parking – car users will need to park in one of the many city centre car parks as there are no general parking spaces attached to the building. For visitors travelling from outside Sheffield the tram system links the city centre ‘out of town’ park and ride car parks.

Wheel Chair Access – the building has full wheel chair access with 3 parking bays to the side of the building, reserved for use by disabled badge holders and other people with impaired mobility. These spaces must be booked in advance to ensure availability. Car park ceiling height is restricted to 2.4m. and may not be suitable for cars with an extending top.

From the railway station or bus station

By Tram – the trams to Malin Bridge run between the station and the City Hall stop on West Street at 10 minute intervals during the day. (Note the tram stop is behind the station, across the passenger footbridge which can be reached by lift from every platform. There is no tram stop at the main entrance to the station). On getting off the tram continue up West Street in the same direction as the tram. Cross Carver St at the pedestrian crossing.

Keep the Walkabout pub on your left. Rockingham Lane is the next turning left, behind the Walkabout pub. The Circle is on your left towards the other end of Rockingham Lane

On Foot: walk straight up Howard Street (past the Howard pub, which you can see from outside the station). Bear right at the top and cross Arundel Gate opposite the Millennium Galleries. Follow the ramped walkway round to your left into Surrey Street. Continue up Surrey Street, passing the Winter Gardens on your left. After passing the Town Hall (on your left), cross over into Barkers Pool (Barclays Bank on your left). Continue past the City Hall (on your right) up into Division Street. Take the third street on your right (at Costa Coffee shop) and the entrance to The Circle is on your right.

By car

We strongly recommend that you use the ‘park and ride’ facilities at Meadowhall, Parkway and at Malin Bridge, which is cheaper than parking in town, as there are convenient tram stops on West Street. Alighting at West Street/City Hall, walk down Rockingham Lane (see map) until you reach the Circle is on your left after 100m. Visit http://www.supertram.com/ for details and a journey planner.

From the M1 (north or south) Leave M1 at J33, follow A630 into Sheffield. As you approach the Park Square roundabout you need to be in the right hand lane. Immediately before the roundabout you need to be in the third lane from the left. The lane marking is "A61N City". Follow these lane markings around the roundabout. Take the fourth exit (signposted "Hallam University"). Follow the road round a left hand bend at TJ Hughes and continue along this road passing the Odeon on your left and Novotel on your right until you reach a roundabout. Turn right into Furnival Gate. At the next roundabout, take the second exit and follow the road round to your left (keeping in the right hand lane). Turn right at the traffic lights into Rockingham Street. There are car parks on both sides of Rockingham Street. Once parked, walk up Rockingham Street, turn right on Division Street and first left into Rockingham Lane.

From the west, on reaching the inner ring road (A6134) take Charter Row (A625) towards the City Centre (passing signs to City Centre car parks). Turn left just before the roundabout in Rockingham Street. The car parks are further up the street past the traffic lights.
